1. 解释Ka波段SAR

Ka 代表着K的正上方(K-above),Ka波段微波信号属于毫米波信号,其频率范围为26.5-40 GHz,也被称作30/20 GHz波段。它是SAR家族中的 “超高精度显微镜” 或 “敏捷侦察兵”。它是目前星载和机载SAR中使用的波长最短、频率最高的波段之一。

与其他波段SAR相比,Ka波段SAR的核心关键技术在于Ka波段射频收发技术、低功率信号收发技术以及天线技术等。射频收发技术包括高功率发射技术与低噪声放大技术低功率信号收发技术包括信号发送和接收通道的调制解调技术与干扰抑制技术,天线技术包括宽带天线技术以及高透波率宽带天线罩技术等。以往大功率Ka波段微波信号器件不成熟,技术难度大,成本高昂,而Ka波段多被应用于近距探测,如防撞雷达,交通监测等领域

2. Ka波段SAR的优势

(1)图像分辨率高

Ka波段雷达工作频段高,一般中心频率为35 GHz,相对于Ku、X等波段的罱达,能够实现更大的系统带宽,也就能得到相对较高的SAR距离分辨率,同时,由于其较小的天线尺寸更于实现较高的方位向分辨率。根据雷达分辨率理论,天线孔径相同时,波长越短,分辨率越高。Ka波段能实现厘米级甚至更高的分辨率,能够分辨出极其细微的地物结构,例如公路上的车道线、车辆的具体型号、建筑物的细小构件等

(2)雷达小型化

由于Ka波段雷达信号为毫米波,雷达系统的天线,微波器件的体积也相应减小,例如实现同样增益的天线Ka波段的天线孔经面积只有Ku波段天线孔经面积的四分之一。因此,Ka波段SAR雷达便于实现小型化设计,更加适合在小型无人机平台应用。

(3)图象效果更好

Ka波段中心频率35 GHz,其波长更短,更接近可见光波段。因此,Ka波段的SAR雷达图像细节更为清晰细腻,图像效果更好。

3. Ka波段SAR的主要应用

(1)超高分辨率军事与民用侦察用于获取战略级情报,图像细节程度远超X波段,能够进行更精确的目标识别和特征提取。

(2)基础设施的毫米级形变监测利用其极高的干涉灵敏度,对桥梁、大坝、高铁轨道、高层建筑、机场跑道等进行健康监测,能够发现早期、微小的形变,防患于未然。

(3)冰川与冰盖表面精细变化监测极短的波长意味着Ka波段SAR信号几乎不会穿透冰雪。因此,它测量的是冰川和冰盖的真实表面,而非像L波段那样可能穿透到雪层内部。这对于精确监测冰川流速、表面消融和物质平衡至关重要。

(4)三维高程测量(单次航过)结合数字波束形成 等先进技术,Ka波段SAR系统(如机载毫米波InSAR)可以在单次飞行中生成极高。精度的数字表面模型,用于城市三维建模、电力线巡查等。
